BIPAC's Podcast

BIPAC President and Chief Executive Officer Jim Gerlach interviews U.S. House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee Chairman, Congressman Bill Shuster, for a discussion on the Highway Trust Fund.

The purpose of our podcast series is to educate and inform our members, supporters, and partners.  At BIPAC, we believe that America works better when Americans vote.  And the first step of an effective employer-to-employee grassroots advocacy strategy, well before Election Day, is to help employees become informed voters on the issues relevant to their jobs, their companies, and their industries.

Rep. Shuster serves the 9th District of Pennsylvania, which includes all or parts of 12 counties from western to central PA.  He was first sworn into the House in 2001 and besides his chairmanship of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, he also serves on the House Armed Services Committee.

If you would like us to explore other policy issues in this podcast series, please contact your BIPAC member services or field team key contact.

For more information about the Highway Trust Fund, please visit Chairman Shuster’s website at shuster.house.gov.  And for more information about BIPAC, please visit www.bipac.org.

BIPAC President and Chief Executive Officer Jim Gerlach interviews Rep. Charlie Dent (R-PA) in our latest Policy Maker Podcast.

Today, we welcome my former colleague in both the U.S. Congress and Pennsylvania State Legislature, Rep. Charlie Dent.

Congressman Dent serves the 15th District of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania–representing parts of Berks, Dauphin, Lebanon, Lehigh, and Northhampton counties.  He was first sworn into the House in January 2005.

Rep. Dent currently serves as chairman of the sub-committee for military construction and veterans affairs at the powerful Appropriations Committee, chairman of the House Ethics Committee, and a co-Chair of the Tuesday Group, a group of center-right Republicans dedicated to promoting fiscal responsibility, personal independence, and a strong national defense.
