Jason Langsner, Director of New Media and Communications for BIPAC (Business-Industry Political Action Committee), interviews Dr. John Lawrence on the latest BIPAC Podcast on behalf of our foundation - The Friends of Adam Smith - on April 29, 2014. 

The Friends of Adam Smith Foundation welcomed Dr. John Lawrence, professor at Georgetown University's McCourt School of Public Policy and a 38 year veteran staffer in the U.S. House of Representatives, to speak about his upcoming executive education course on making an impact in Washington, DC.

The Friends of Adam Smith was established in November 2000 by the Board of Directors of BIPAC along with many of its members.  We are charged with researching and promoting the historical and relevant link between politics, public policy, and economic freedom.

BIPAC, founded in 1963, is a nonpartisan, membership-supported, mission-driven, organization dedicated to increasing the political effectiveness of America’s business community.

We work to improve the political climate in America for the business community and help job providers play a more active role in the public policy and political process.
